I was a backer for both Kickstarter campaigns for the Craft Easy Safety Eye Tool, and both campaigns failed to reach their funding goal. However, you can link from the last update in the 2nd Kickstarter campaign to the creator’s website, and pre-order a Craft Easy Safety Eye Tool there. The creator warns that she won’t start producing the tools until she has raised (via pre-orders and a mortgage on her house) at least 50% of the funding required to make the mold for the revised version of the tool.
I LOVE my wool jeanie! It works so much smoother than a yarn bowl does in my opinion.
For cake yarns, I love having a small, flat 6″ lazy Susan, with a circle of squishy shelf liner laid on top to keep the yarn from slipping and cork feet added on the bottom. It’s simple, feeds smoothly and is light weight/compact enough to tuck into my project bags.
