When I’m not actually crocheting, I love taking pretty pictures of my makes to share on Instagram and Facebook. To keep my pics fresh, I like to switch out my backdrops.
I DIY’d a lovely knit-look photo backdrop out of loop yarn and I can’t even knit! Follow this tutorial to make your own.

To make my knit-look photo backdrop, I tried out the new Bernat Alize E-Z Wool, now available at JOANN. It’s a whole new loop yarn that I’m kind of obsessed with. It’s got a chainette structure, which makes it light and airy. And the bit of wool in it gives it a halo that’s really dreamy.
To make your knit-look photo backdrop, you’ll need 4 balls of the loop yarn. Many local JOANN stores are carrying it now. But, if you can’t find it at your store, you can pick it up online too.
I’m so excited to use this backdrop for my Instagram photos. But this can also be used as a newborn photo prop, or even as a baby blanket.

Hi, how many “squares” wide and high did you get from the 4 balls you used ?
