In curating Happy Place, my singular intention was to craft a yarn that feels just as amazing as it looks. The heart of this collection lies in its carefully balanced fiber blend – a symphony of 50% cotton and 50% wool. Every asset – from the all-natural fiber to the 40 curated colors, the velvety feel and the cute label – has been meticulously considered to bring you the best yarn I could come up with. And that’s Happy Place!

Meet My Happy Place
Allow me to introduce you to a new experience within each strand: Cotton’s softness meets wool’s warmth for a touchably soft yarn, delivering a treat for your senses. Try the unique feel of this natural-fiber blend, which adds a lush velvety touch to even the most basic projects.

Happy Place yarn provides a bountiful 273 yards (250 meters) in a 100-gram ball, situating it on the lighter end of the DK weight spectrum. This weight selection offers flexibility for various projects, from cozy sweaters and stylish cardigans to charming scarves, cozy blankets, cuddly amigurumi, and beyond.
16-Ply Construction
Spun with an impressive 16-ply construction and combining strands of cotton and wool for a unique and luxurious texture, this meticulous approach contributes to the yarn’s smoothness. As a result, it minimizes splitting and enhances the overall crafting experience.
Stitch Definition
Testing hooks with Happy Place was essential to uncover its stitching qualities. I experimented with wood, plastic, and metal hooks, each offering unique experiences. Clover Amour metal hooks glide smoothly with consistent tension, while the tested Clover Takumi wood hook offers grippier and deliberate stitching. Similarly, my Pride Resin Hook from Furls offers smoothness despite its slight grip, resulting in uniform stitches. No matter the hook, Happy Place proved adaptable and enjoyable, confirming its versatile nature.
