Camaro Crop Top Pattern
Summer is a great time for experimentation for us makers. Trying new materials, shapes, and patterns is even more exciting when you’re hiding from the blazing sun with a cup of something ice cold.
I was sipping some homemade cucumber mint lemonade and contemplating what to do with several skeins of WeCrochet’s Dishie in my stash. My first instinct with kitchen cotton like this is something for the home or a bag. But then I thought – What if I did the opposite of the most obvious thing? Instead of a purse or a pillow, how about a mesh crochet top?!
And so, the Camaro Crop Top was born. Featuring an all-over double crochet mesh stitch pattern, long sleeves, and a sweet v-neck complete with a rope tie, it’s the perfect companion for festivals, road trips, or just making the everyday a little more exciting! Pick up the Camaro Crop Top pattern today and add some excitement to your wardrobe.

I would like to make this (bought the pattern) in Dishie “begonia” and “clementine”. I want to make the majority pink, and then the placard(?)and maybe like the bottom of sleeve and shirt like a border orange. In a large should I buy 3 begonia skeins and 1 clementine or XL 4 begonia and ! clementine? Will I run out of the main color if I sub in the other? I am newish and especially when I am investing in pattern and yarn I want to make sure I’m doing it right. Thank you, I love your channel and all your work!
Hi! I always recommend that you buy more than you need and return any leftover, just so you don’t run out. Thanks so much for checking out the pattern – I love the idea you have. I bet it’s gonna be so pretty 🙂
Ideally how long should the drawstring be? 40 chains seems pretty short….
If 40 chains aren’t working out after trying it, measure a drawstring in your favorite hoodie and use that measurement for reference.
Is there a free pattern for this top or do we have to buy it?
