Get hip to the Confetti Cluster Square
It’s no secret – I love a good granny square! But even these timeless motifs can get a little… tired. When it’s time to switch it up from the classic crochet motif, why not try the Confetti Cluster Square?! It mainly uses the basic double crochet stitch, but this one stitch is used two different ways to maximum impact. First, double crochet stitches are used in the v-stitch to add an open, lacy texture to the square. Then, double crochet groups work together in a cluster for a completely different look. Make a couple Confetti Cluster Squares for a breezy summer top, or make a whole pile of them out of scraps to turn into a vibrant blanket. You can’t go wrong with a prefect crochet square.
